Meet Coach Sherry D.
Sherry Ward of Building Blocks Consulting and Coaching has a passion for helping children and adolescents develop positively in their mental, physical, and spiritual domains. Sherry has been working with youth since the age of 18. Her passions lead her to attend Elizabeth City State University where she received a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Juvenile Justice, Kaplan University where she received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a concentration in Child and Adolescent Development and Capella University where she received a Master’s of Science with a Specialization in Child and Adolescent Development. She is also a Certified Fitness Trainer.
Sherry has 16 years of experience teaching and working one-on-one with children and adolescents from birth to 21 years of age in various settings including in-home, church, school, daycare, court, group homes, youth camps and inclusion classrooms. She has also consulted with parents to develop personal plans and goals to advance their child’s behavior. She is proficient in her knowledge of educating parents in upholding healthy relationships with their children.
Sherry resides in Raleigh North Carolina with her husband and son.
